Flag Football

Garrett once again got to play flag football this year on Steve's team, once again he had a great time.

Spetmeber 11- First Football Game

September 11 was Keystone's first Home game for his year and they took the extra effort to pay tribute to our first responders- which was most appropriate. But it was also Wyatt's first football game and halftime show. He enjoyed the 1st quarter. Slept through the 2nd. Enjoyed 1/2 time and watched 3rd quarter. Then Gary and Wyatt headed for home.

A week ago Saturday night, we closed the Flag Football season with a very wet, chilly game. It rained the whole way through the game, and it was cold, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the players. Garrett ended up with a touchdown and an extra point reception and his team finished with a win 25-12. It was a great season and the kids learned lots about football fundamentals once again. Thanks to the coaches and those that worked to pull this together!

Garrett's Flag Football Season

Garrett has been playing flag football again this year, but his team hasn't been doing really well, but the kids are having fun. Garrett had a touchdown, an extra point and a couple of flags pulled this past Saturday- so the team is improving and they were able to keep it really close the first half, but in the end they lost again.

Garrett's Flag Football Season

Last weekend, Garrett's Flag Football season came to a conclusion as a player on an undefeated team!!!! We had a great Flag Football season with warm games and only 1 game cancelled due to rain(It poured that weekend!), but we were able to make it up later that week. Last Weekends game was under the lights at the high school field and it was raining and windy for the K-2nd grade game, but the kids played well and it was a close game. Garrett got to serve as captain at the final "Championship" game. Garrett had some great games with several catches for touchdowns and a couple of runs for touchdowns and he was getting really good at pulling flags.

Flag Football Mid Season

Flag Football season is half over and I have only taken pictures a couple of days because we have been sitting in the rain on a regular basis! With the rain it seems that Garrett easily finds as much mud as possible. The boys are both improving and enjoying the game of football this fall.

 Both boys have made a few touchdowns so far and are doing great. Thanks to the coaches from the Keystone area for letting these kids have a great time while learning about the game. Thanks!
